  • JUICE launched with MAJIS. The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) launched friday April 14 from the Guiana Space Center. One of the instruments onboard was MAJIS (Moons And Jupiter Imaging Spectrometer) that was developed by the Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS). The instrument will be turned on in just over a month, and will arrive at Jupiter in 2031.
  • “Les Mondes de Saturne” was awarded the best astronomy book of 2023 by Ciel & Espace. This book, written by Alice Le Gall (LATMOS), Sandrine Guerlet (LMD), Sandrine Vinatier (LESIA) and Sébastien Charnoz (IPGP), provides a synthesis of the fantastic Cassini-Huygens mission around the ringed planet from 2004 to 2017.
